How do Settlements work?

Settlements is the place in the app where you can see who owes whom how much for shared rides. The app doesn’t collect or transfer money – you pay each other directly, e.g. by BLIK or in cash, and only record it in Settlements. inOneCar takes no commission.

You’ll find it in the side menu (☰ icon) → “Settlements”. Not every network has it – if you don’t see this item, you settle up without it.

Where do charges come from?

When the arrival time of an accepted booking has passed, the app records a charge for the ride: the passenger owes the driver the ride price. If the ride didn’t happen, the charge can be cancelled. The ride didn’t happen – how do I cancel the charge?

What’s on the screen?

  • “Total balance” – how much you have to receive in total after subtracting what you owe yourself,
  • “Owed to you” and “You owe”,
  • a list of people you settle up with, with the number of shared rides.

Tap a person to see your balance with them and the history. Entries can be “Awaiting confirmation”, “Being clarified”, “Cancellation requested” or “Settled”.
