Why does the app ask for my phone number?

Shared rides require direct contact between the driver and the passenger, e.g. when someone is running late or can’t find the meeting point. That’s why the app asks you to verify your phone number before your first booking.

When will the app ask?

Not when you sign up, but when you send a booking request or accept someone else’s request for the first time. You’ll see a “Phone number required” window. You can’t book a ride without a verified number.

You can do it earlier: Profile → “Verifications” → “Phone”.

How do I verify my number?

  1. Enter your phone number (with the country code) and tap “Save”.
  2. You’ll get an SMS with a code. Enter it in the app.

Something isn’t working

  • “Phone … is already taken” – this number is already linked to another account. One number can only have one account. If it’s your number and you don’t remember the other account, write to us.
  • “Incorrect verification code” – check that you’re entering the code from the most recent SMS.
  • The SMS doesn’t arrive – check that the number is correct, wait a moment and try again.

Who will see my number?

Your number is hidden until you have an accepted booking. After your first accepted booking, the other person can call you with the phone button in the booking details. They will then see your number. Other users can’t see it – your profile only shows that your number is verified.
