The ride price is a contribution to the driver’s commuting costs, not a profit. inOneCar takes no commission on it.

Where does the price come from?

The app suggests a price per passenger. It’s based on the length of the driver’s route.

The limit: mileage allowance

All passengers of one ride together can’t pay the driver more than the mileage allowance for that route – the per-kilometre rate that Polish regulations set as reimbursement for using a private car. The app works out the maximum price per passenger from this and won’t let you set a higher one.

Drivers

When you add a ride, in the Options step you’ll see the Trip price per passenger: the suggested and the maximum price. If your network allows it, you can set a lower price or choose “Free”. You can’t set more than the maximum.

In some company networks, the price is fixed and can’t be changed. Rides in a company car and rides in networks where shared commuting is free are always free of charge.

Passengers

You’ll see the price on a suggestion as “You pay”. It depends on how much of the driver’s route you travel together. If the driver has to make a detour to pick you up, the suggestion will show it and the price will include a surcharge for the detour.

Payment

The app doesn’t take payments. You settle up directly with each other, e.g. in cash or by BLIK. In networks that have “Settlements” on the More tab, the app keeps track of who owes whom and how much.
