How do I delete a route or cancel a ride on a specific day?

You can delete a whole route or cancel your ride on a selected day only. In the second case, the route stays in your schedule.

How do I delete a whole route?

  1. In the bottom bar, open the Routes tab.
  2. Tap the route you want to delete.
  3. At the bottom of the screen, tap “Delete”.
  4. Check what the deletion affects and confirm with “Delete route”.

On the Routes tab, a recurring ride is a single route (to work and back home), so you delete both directions at once.

After deleting:

  • all upcoming rides on this route are cancelled and the app stops looking for matches for it,
  • people who have a booking on this route get a notification about the cancellation,
  • the route moves to the “Deleted and ended” section. You can see it by turning on “Show deleted and ended”, together with the people you rode with. A deleted route can’t be restored or edited. If you need it again, add it again.

Don’t see the Routes tab in the bottom bar? Update the app.

You can also delete a route with the bin icon at the top of the ride screen. This deletes only one direction: the app asks “Delete the direction … › …?” and shows the people who have a booking. Confirm with “Delete direction”. For a recurring ride, you then delete the way to work and the way back separately.

How do I cancel a ride on a specific day?

  • On the Schedule tab, swipe the ride row to the left and tap CANCEL.
  • Or tap the ride, then the round pencil button, and choose “I’m not going”.

Confirm the cancellation. You won’t travel on this route that day. The other days in your schedule stay the same.

To cancel several days at once, tap “Edit” next to the “Upcoming rides” heading, select the rides and tap CANCEL.

If you change your mind, swipe the row to the left and tap RESTORE, or choose “I’m going” on the ride screen.

Bookings

If you cancel a day or delete a route that has bookings, they will be cancelled. This applies both to passengers you drive and to your own booking with a driver. The app warns you before you confirm.
