What is a network in inOneCar?

A network is a group of people who can ride together. Ride suggestions, the chat and bookings work within the network you’re logged in to. You choose the network on the “Where you want to login?” screen right after opening the app.

Company network

A company or university that uses inOneCar has its own network. In it, you ride with people from the same company.

  • Who can join – the company decides. Most often you need a company email address, approval by an administrator, or company sign-in (SSO). How do I register?
  • Features – the company may have e.g. Settlements, points for shared rides or driver location sharing turned on. If you don’t see an item on the More tab, your network doesn’t have it.
  • Administrator – a person appointed by the company approves new accounts and runs the programme. They have no access to your conversations.

Public network

For everyone whose company doesn’t use inOneCar. On the network selection screen, tap “Public”.

  • You must be an adult to create a public account.
  • Use a private email address for a public account. If you enter an address in the domain of a company that uses inOneCar, you’ll end up in that company’s network.
  • The public network works in selected areas. Where can I add a ride?
  • Bookings, the chat, Settlements and location sharing all work. There are no points or employer subsidies.

Can I see people from other networks?

No. Networks are separate from each other. In the public network you don’t see company employees from their company networks, and they don’t see you.

How do I switch to another network?

Open the More tab, tap “Logout” and choose another network. One account can belong to several networks, e.g. a company one and the public one. In a company network, its logo and name are shown at the top of the More tab, next to “Your network”.

If you log in to the public network and your account also belongs to a company network, the app asks which network you want to continue in. How to log in?
